The Hasanat Boutique Story: Where Modesty Is Worship

At Hasanat Boutique, our journey is one of īmān (faith), sincerity, and striving to earn the pleasure of Allāh through what we create and offer. Our purpose is not fashion for its own sake, but modesty that pleases Allāh — clothing that reflects dignity, purity, and submission to Him.

A Legacy of Striving and Sincerity
Our story began with the determination of my father, who worked tirelessly abroad to support his family, and with the foresight of my mother, who encouraged him to bring back modest garments for our community. What began as a small effort from our home — sharing ʿabāyāt and khimar with friends — grew, by the permission of Allāh, into a trusted source of Islamic attire in the West.
Through years of challenges, language barriers, and hard work, my parents built a foundation grounded in sincerity (ikhlāṣ) and patience (ṣabr). Today, by the grace of Allāh, we continue their legacy through Hasanat Boutique in Tampa, Florida — striving to uphold their intention of serving the Muslim community.

Our Mission: Hasanat in Every Deed
Our name, Hasanat, means good deeds — a reflection of our belief that business itself can be an act of worship when done with honesty, fairness, and the intention of earning Allāh’s reward. Every decision, from our pricing to our designs, is guided by this principle.
We saw that many sisters were struggling to find modest clothing that was dignified, beautiful, and affordable. It became our responsibility to provide garments that embody ḥayāʾ (modesty) and quality, without excess or exploitation. Our goal is to make modest wear accessible to every Muslim woman who seeks to dress in a way that pleases her Lord.

Crafted with Care and Integrity
Our abayas and garments are carefully made by skilled tailors, ensuring attention to detail and fair compensation for their work. We collaborate primarily with trusted Muslim artisans and suppliers to preserve integrity in every step of the process — from production to delivery.

Serving the Ummah Through Charity
Giving back is not an act of charity alone — it is an obligation of Islam. Remembering the hardship my father faced as a young orphan, our family made a commitment to support children who face similar struggles.

We pledge 35% of our profits toward establishing and maintaining an orphanage and school in Bangladesh — a place that offers shelter, education, and a nurturing Islamic environment for orphans and impoverished children.

All customer tips are fully dedicated to this cause, unless the donor specifies otherwise. With every purchase, you share in this ṣadaqah jāriyah — a continuous charity that benefits generations to come.

A Call to Purpose
When you shop at Hasanat Boutique, you are not merely purchasing clothing — you are engaging in an act of Hasanat. Each piece you wear carries the intention of modesty, the beauty of simplicity, and the hope of reward from Allāh.

Join us in our mission: to revive modesty, to support the needy, and to remember that in every garment, there is a purpose beyond the fabric — a means of earning reward and serving our Ummah.
